I am always on the lookout for new and exciting hobbies and recently found out about postcrossing.
For those of you who don’t know about postcrossing, it’s like pen pals around the world, but without huge commitment. You are given the address of a postcrosser to write a postcard to, and other different postcrossers send you postcards, you may send and recieve mail all around the world! You can learn more about it all at their website: http://www.postcrossing.com
This month, I got to send postcards to postcrossers in Romania, Canada, Germany, Russia and Hong Kong. Here are a few of the postcards like the ones I sent out, featuring my beautiful home state of Oregon.
What about you, are you involved in postcrossing? What have been some of your experiences?
I never heard about postcrossing before today, but it looks like such a great idea. Thanks for sharing!

It really is, I read about it on a blog and am so excited about it! And it’s free too which is super neat!

I’d never heard of it. Sounds great though. I’m sure you’ll build up a great collection before long.

I love PostCrossing! It’s great! It can get expensive though, so I try to limit myself to how many I send out a month.

That’s a good idea! I would love to buy all different types of post cards and take my photos and make them into postcards but I feel like that can get super spendy!!
