The Murder On The Orient Express is a timeless #mystery tale about (you guessed it) a murder about the train, The Orient Express, and the detective Hercule Poirot who solves it. The Murder On The Orient Express was first a mystery novel written in 1934 by Agatha Christie.
Guinness World Records lists Agatha Christie as the best-selling novelist of all time. Her novels have sold roughly 2 billion copies to date. She also remains the most-translated individual author, her writings having been translated into at least 103 languages.
“‘All around us are people of all classes, of all nationalities, of all ages. For three days these people, these strangers to one another, are brought together. They sleep and eat under one roof, they cannot get away from each other. At the end of three days they part, they go their several ways, never, perhaps, to see each other again.” Murder on the Orient Express.
Now after all these years, it is back, starring some big name actors such as: Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, and Johnny Depp.
Finally, a movie worth rebooting. There are so many old classics in Hollywood that deserve their time in the limelight again!
So what should be up next? I am still holding out hope for Arsenic And Old Lace (1944).
What about you? What Hollywood reboot would you love to see?
